One of the most historic collections at the Transport Museum is the cars used by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The first collection that you can see is the Chrysler Windsor Deluxe car made in 1952, which was once used by the first President of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno.
This car is not only historic because it was Bung Karno’s official vehicle, but also has an important story because it was used in the Asia Africa Conference in 1955 in Bandung.
In addition, there is also the Chrysler Imperial, a car given by the King of Saudi Arabia, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which was once pelted with grenades during the Cikini Incident in 1957.
2. Indonesian Presidential Helicopter
The Transport Museum also has a collection of historic helicopters given by the President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, to President Soekarno.
The Bell 47-J helicopter named ‘ Si Walet’ became the first presidential helicopter used by Indonesia in 1960-1965. Visitors can learn the history of the use of this helicopter in diplomatic negotiations between Indonesia and the United States.

To enter the Museum Angkut, the entrance ticket is priced at IDR 100,000 per person on weekdays and IDR 120,000 per person on weekends.
